1. What is your MOQ for custom velvet hoodies?

Our MOQ is kept low because we produce in-house, and it depends on fabric, number of colours and embroidery coverage. Mixed sizes within one style are accepted. Send us your target quantity and we will confirm the exact MOQ and unit price for your configuration.

2. Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?

Yes — and velvet is exactly the fabric you want to sample first, because pile quality and colour depth are hard to judge from a screen. We produce a pre-production sample with your velvet, colour, embroidery and labels so you can check the hand-feel, stitch definition and measurements before committing to bulk. Sampling is fast once artwork and fabric are confirmed, and the sample cost is typically credited against your bulk order.

3. What is metallic thread embroidery, and how does it hold up?

Metallic thread embroidery uses a metallic-wrapped thread instead of standard polyester thread, which gives the logo a bold, high-shine finish that photographs extremely well. It is embroidered on computerized machines, so the edges stay sharp and consistent from piece to piece. Because metallic thread is more abrasive than standard thread, it is run at controlled speed with the right backing and topping — this is part of our standard embroidery setup rather than an add-on.

4. Will the velvet pile flatten or mark during packing and shipping?

Velvet pile can take a temporary set if a garment is compressed for a long time in transit. We steam-finish each hoodie before packing and can adjust bagging and folding to reduce compression. In most cases a light steam after unpacking lifts the pile back up. If your channel requires hang-packing, tell us and we will quote it.

5. Which decoration methods work best on velvet?

Embroidery is the most reliable on velvet — both metallic and standard thread sit cleanly on the pile and give a raised, premium finish. Woven patches and labels also work well because the clean edges contrast against the plush surface. Screen print is possible but depends on pile height, so we always run an artwork test on your chosen velvet during sampling. Send us your artwork and we will advise the best method for it.

6. What sizes and colours are available?

Standard sizing is S–2XL, measured flat with a ±1–2 cm tolerance (see the size guide above); custom size ranges are available. Current colourways are Black, Navy Blue, Forest Green, Burgundy and Khaki — and velvet can be dyed to your target shade: send a Pantone reference or a physical swatch and we will produce a lab dip for approval before bulk.

7. Do you accept OEM and ODM projects, and what are the lead times?

Yes — we run both. For OEM you supply artwork and specs; for ODM our team helps develop the design, tech pack and fabric selection. Sampling is fast once artwork and fabric are confirmed, and the bulk lead time is confirmed with your order — it depends on quantity, embroidery coverage and season. Because festive-season orders peak together in Q3–Q4, we recommend confirming your quantities as soon as your range is set.
